The Old Café Bunkroom

 Quirky, Affordable, Comfortable.

We created The Old Café Bunkroom as a superior alternative to a Youth Hostel or Bunkhouse Barn.  Affordable accommodation in a prime location.

The Room

A compact room, sleeping 2. With TV, a bunkbed, table and chairs, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and a very small shower room.  Be aware that The Old Café Bunkroom is located next to a road (A591) so there is some noise during the day, less at night.

In order to make the Bunkroom affordable we ask that you make your own beds up.  We will provide you with bed linen, towels, toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities.

Facilities

The Old Café Bunkroom is part of Rydal Lodge Country House Bed and Breakfast (formerly Rydal Lodge Hotel) so you will have access to the facilities there - we have a licensed bar, a resident's lounge and a small Library.

Rydal Lodge B&B is set in extensive grounds with riverside seating next to the River Rothay.

Opposite is The Badger Bar serving pub meals.

Optional Breakfast

Breakfast is not included in the price of the room but for an additional charge you can order a Full English breakfast, Continental breakfast, butties or egg on toast to be delivered to your room.

A menu will be in your room to pre-order the night before.
